Grace Elizabeth "Bonnie" Boyles was born December 17, 1951 and died on January 27, 2011. She was the third child of Norman Bennett Boyles, Sr and Catherine Rettew Beittel Boyles. She graduated from Grimsley High School and then Guilford College with a BA in English and UNC at Chapel Hill with an MA in English.
