Ms. Mandelkorn, where are you?
Posted Sunday, August 30, 2009 09:41 PM

I hope my friend Barbara Mandelkorn sees this too and contacts me! I think she's in Florida working in retail.....but not sure. Where are you, my friend? And what are you doing, these days? I miss you. When your parents moved to Florida we lost track of each other.

I hope other people post on this site, too!

Barbara M passed away.  She is missed by all of her many friends.

Do you know what she died from?  We used to have the best time in choir....sharing and laughing.  I was so looking forward to seeing her again.

I am so sad to hear this news. Barbara was one of my best friends. I used to go home from school with her often and I loved her mom and her older brother and her dad! I always felt I would see Barbara again. I would love to know what she was doing with her life.....was she still single? Are her parents still living? I would like to send them a card, if possible. I know they moved to Florida and I lost track of them there. Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Margie,

Barbara was one of my best friends, also.  We enjoyed simple word games to greater adventures like taking a cross country tour after college.  She was still single and working in retail clothing in Florida.

Her parents continued living in Florida, but I don't know if they are still living.

The most touching memory I have of Barbara is that when I was seriously ill, she took leave time to visit me in GA.  She was a true friend.
